TLDN has provided me with the resources, insights, and network to stay deeply engaged with Lebanon’s ongoing developments, enabling me to play an active role in shaping its future. Through this involvement, I’ve gained the necessary knowledge and connections to help foster the changes I hope to see in the country, all while working toward my personal dream of returning to Lebanon — a Lebanon that is reformed, prosperous, and welcoming for the diaspora.

Since joining TLDN in 2020, I’ve found a safe space for expats, connecting with others and transforming homesickness into proactive teamwork. Together, we’ve worked on elections and humanitarian efforts, united for the good of the Lebanese people at home and abroad. I'm grateful for the friendships I've made😂😂

TLDN is an inspiring group of Lebanese abroad who decided to create a platform to promote civic engagement of the diaspora in shaping the future of Lebanon beyond just providing financial means to our loved ones at home. My experience was nothing short of eye opening to the leverage our diaspora can have in supporting positive change in Lebanon through collaboration, determination, and persistence. My personal experience since joining The Lebanese Diaspora Network (TLDN) in 2020 has been truly rewarding. Through TLDN, I’ve had the privilege of meeting like-minded individuals of all ages — from passionate youth to wise grandparents — and with diverse talents and expertise from around the globe: Paris, Sydney, Bucharest, London, New York, Washington, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Miami, Switzerland, the Gulf States and more. One of the most memorable moments was hosting the 48-hour marathon to register expats to vote. I connected with people who spoke different languages, came from different professional backgrounds, but shared the same deep love for Lebanon. I’m grateful to TLDN for creating this space where we can connect, collaborate, and work together for our motherland. It has shown me the strength, creativity, and dedication of the Lebanese diaspora — and the power of collective action across generations
